Program Notes: Little Sun originated as the first piece from my electronics album Amy’s Third Most Emotionally-Distressed Roommate. The most traditional of these pieces, Little Sun is a depiction of the early morning as well as a secular benediction for loved ones. It is the aforementioned Amy’s favorite piece from the album. This version featuring guitar seeks to maintain the spirit of the electronics while giving the song a new spin.
