Program Notes: Hymn to Venus echoes the reverent tone of traditional hymnody, while drawing from the inconstant nature of the Roman goddess of love. This piece was written for the 2019 Harmonium Choral Society Composition Contest and tied for first place alongside Young Night Thought by Henry Marinovic.
